Job Description
This Medical/Surgical Hospitalist role involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed and collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
This role may require handling sensitive information, with access limited to what is necessary for duties, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
