The clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
This role may require access to sensitive information, with responsibilities to protect patient privacy and comply with relevant laws and policies.
