The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and guide the Plan of Care, directing ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, respecting patient and staff contributions, and safeguarding sensitive information per privacy regulations.
