Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
They assess patient conditions through diagnostic tests and evaluate care needs.
Apply sound nursing judgment in care management, offering primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as prescribed and collaborate with the team to develop care plans.
Guide ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of quality principles.
The role involves handling sensitive information responsibly and adhering to privacy regulations.
