Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care according to regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administer prescribed medications and collaborate with the team to develop patient care plans.
Guide ancillary staff and uphold nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
