Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
