The ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a key role in managing clinical and operational workflows during shifts, with responsibilities including patient care, staff scheduling, and quality improvement.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Assists with admissions, discharges, and resource management.
Supports staff development, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Manages inventory and operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
May assume direct patient care and handle personnel issues.
Rotates through areas such as safety, patient experience, staff engagement, fiscal responsibility, and clinical competencies.
Requirements include 1+ year healthcare experience, RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred BSN.
