Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Description

REF:#2d24c56b7170860f We are an 84-bed skilled nursing and short-term rehab facility seeking to hire a full time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Primary job duties include:
* Assist the Occupational Therapist in the evaluation process as directed
* Monitor residents’ response to intervention and consult with OT if modification is indicated
* Conduct individual, supervised and group treatments as outlined in the treatment plan
* Provide/recommend/fabricate adaptive devices or other equipment; train resident and caregiver in the use or application of orthodics and prosthetics
* Participate in resident, family and staff education as needed

Education requirements:

Must hold a valid MA COTA license, in good standing. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Prior experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
