We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. This role involves providing therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges, including children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote emotional well-being and assist clients in developing coping strategies. The position may involve both in-person and telehealth sessions, allowing for flexible service delivery.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
* Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health conditions and recommend appropriate interventions.
* Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and art therapy.
* Offer specialized care for clients dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the clinic to ensure holistic care for clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health counseling.

*Skills*
* Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including art therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
* Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
* Experience in providing individual and group counseling within a clinical setting, particularly with pediatric populations.
* Familiarity with telehealth platforms for delivering remote counseling services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining client confidentiality.
