Job Description
This role provides clinical athletic trainer support within a healthcare system, focusing on patient communication, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining specimens, and performing clinical procedures.
Licensed by the State of Tennessee as an Athletic Trainer with a relevant degree or diploma.
At least one year of experience in a medical office environment.
Proficient in using medical equipment such as glucometers, BP cuffs, thermometers, and medications.
Must be able to sit, stand, communicate effectively in English, and lift over 20 pounds.
Responsibilities include recording medical history, administering immunizations, counseling patients, managing supplies, coordinating referrals, triaging calls, obtaining prior authorizations, assisting with procedures, maintaining quality assurance, and coordinating pharmacy needs.
