Job Description
The Clinical Support Nurse at âSTATâ level responds to urgent medical situations 24/7, providing specialized critical care across various hospital units.
Responsibilities include assessing patient health, implementing nursing interventions, stabilizing decompensating patients, managing ICU patients, and facilitating transfers to higher care levels.
Responds to codes such as stroke, STEMI, and emergency events, and provides staff training like MOCK code drills.
Uses physical exams, collaborates with teams, and follows protocols to ensure patient safety and effective care.
Requires a nursing degree, current NY RN licensure, at least 3 years ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Role involves handling sensitive patient information per HIPAA and privacy standards.
