Job Description

The Critical Care Support Services department seeks a STAT Clinical Support Nurse for night shifts, offering a salary range of $74,484 – $122,907.

  • Responsibilities include assessing patients for health changes, implementing interventions, making independent judgments, and collaborating on patient care across units such as ICU and Emergency Department.
  • The STAT team provides 24/7 specialized critical care, education, and mock code training to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Responds to emergency codes (e.g., stroke, STEMI, Code Blue), stabilizes decompensating patients, manages ICU patients outside ICU, and facilitates higher-level care transfer.
  • Requires RN licensure in NY, 3+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must handle sensitive information per HIPAA and institutional policies, ensuring confidentiality and proper data protection.
