Job Description
The Clinical Support Nurse at the âSTATâ level provides critical, rapid response care across hospital units, including ICU and Emergency Department, 24/7.
Responsibilities include identifying patient health alterations, assessing responses, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
Makes independent decisions based on protocols, collaborates with teams, and supports patient stabilization and higher-level transfers.
Responds to codes like stroke, STEMI, and rapid response situations, and educates staff, patients, and families on clinical deterioration.
Uses physical exams, manages ICU patients, facilitates care movement, and administers IV medications.
Requires RN licensure in NY, 3+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Ensures compliance with confidentiality and information security standards.
