Job Description
The STAT Clinical Support Nurse provides immediate, specialized care across medical and surgical units, ICUs, and emergency settings.
Responsibilities include assessing patients, implementing interventions, stabilizing deteriorating patients, and managing ICU cases.
Responds to urgent codes like stroke, STEMI, and rapid response pages.
Uses protocols for physical exams, medication administration, and patient movement.
Collaborates with staff, educates patients and families, and conducts MOCK code training.
Requires RN licensure in NY, at least 3 years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The role involves decision-making, teamwork, and safeguarding sensitive information per HIPAA and hospital policies.
