Job Description

The Critical Care Support Services department seeks experienced Night shift STAT Nurses to provide 24/7 specialized critical care within the hospital.

  • Respond to emergency codes such as stroke, STEMI, Code Blue, and rapid response pages, and assist staff and visitors during emergencies.

  • Use protocols like ACLS to evaluate and stabilize decompensating patients, manage ICU patients on the floor, and facilitate transfers to higher care levels.

  • Administer IV medications, perform problem-focused physical exams, and educate staff, patients, and families on recognizing deterioration signs.

  • Require a nursing degree, current RN license, minimum 3 years ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certification.

  • Must have effective communication, problem-solving, and reasoning skills, and adhere to confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information.
