Job Description
The Critical Care Support Services department is seeking Night shift STAT Nurses with a salary range of $74,484.00 – $122,907.00 (hourly $35.81 – $59.09).
STAT nurses are available 24/7 to respond to medical emergencies such as codes for stroke, STEMI, anesthesia, and rapid response pages, providing specialized care and stabilizing decompensating patients.
They evaluate patients using protocols, assist with patient transfers, administer IV medications, and utilize ACLS and emergency protocols for conditions like chest pain, arrhythmias, hypoglycemia, and anaphylaxis.
Requirements include RN licensure in New York, at least 3 years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and effective communication skills.
Candidates must demonstrate problem-solving and reasoning abilities, and adhere to privacy policies regarding sensitive information.
This role involves collaborative, high-pressure care in a hospital setting.
