Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour weekly night shift (7p-7a) on a Stepdown Medical Unit, with weekend and holiday shifts per department guidelines.

The unit recently received the AACN Beacon Award for Excellence, recognizing outstanding patient care and staff satisfaction.

You will provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care, including education on medications and disease management, while monitoring and managing emergencies for a 4-5 patient assignment.

The unit cares for complex cases such as respiratory failure, COPD, sepsis, and more, with skills in telemetry, wound care, and ventilator management.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, critical thinking, teamwork, compassion, and at least one year of acute care experience. A BSN is required, with ADN candidates needing commitment to obtain it within three years.
