EchoStar is seeking a Plumber for our Hughes Network Systems division to support engineers with plumbing system maintenance. This role is based in our Germantown, MD office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, repair, and servicing of plumbing systems.
• Cut, bend, fit, thread, and join piping and tubing.
• Manage temperature control systems.
• Perform general facilities maintenance as needed.
• Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support three facilities.
• Core hours are M-F, 8 am – 5 pm; on-call rotation approximately every four weeks.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• Journeyman Plumbing License.
• 3-5 years of experience with commercial plumbing fixtures.
• Valid driver’s license.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to climb ladders.
• Lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CFC Certified.
• Service truck experience preferred.
