Full-Time – Salary Non-Exempt – Onsite
Purpose
Conduct daily testing of medium power transformers and mobile substations in a high voltage lab.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform Quality, Routine, Type & Special tests on transformers up to 200 MVA and 230kV.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test/setup issues.
- Maintain and repair testing equipment.
- Adhere to testing methodologies to meet standards.
Specific Duties
- Ensure product reliability for transformers up to 200 MVA.
- Utilize PC for testing documentation.
- Conduct control wiring functional tests and troubleshoot issues.
Education & Experience
- Electrical Associate Degree required.
- Two years of relevant experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency.
- Ability to collaborate on multi-department projects.
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
- Self-motivated and task-oriented.
Travel Requirements
- Only as needed for business purposes.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Physical demands include frequent walking, talking, and using hands. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required.
