Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable standards. Reports to the Director of Critical Care Services. FLSA: Non-exempt. Grade: N22. EEO: 02 Professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a professional nursing school; eligible to practice as an RN per Virginia guidelines.
Skills: Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment. Must effectively communicate nursing concepts and coordinate care.
License: Current RN licensure from Virginia or a Compact State.
Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS required within one year of employment.
Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred; must complete orientation and competency requirements.
