Essential Functions
- Utilize the nursing process for patient care planning and evaluation.
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Deliver nursing care per Washington State regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain quality care standards.
- Administer medications within licensure and policies.
- Delegate nursing functions based on competence.
- Supervise delegated tasks and ensure proper documentation.
- Assess patient conditions considering age and development.
- Implement age-appropriate nursing interventions.
- Complete required chart documentation.
- Participate in hourly rounding.
- Ensure necessary consents are obtained for procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
