Essential Functions

  • Utilize the nursing process for patient care planning and evaluation.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Deliver nursing care per Washington State regulations and hospital policies.
  • Maintain quality care standards.
  • Administer medications within licensure and policies.
  • Delegate nursing functions based on competence.
  • Supervise delegated tasks and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assess patient conditions considering age and development.
  • Implement age-appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Complete required chart documentation.
  • Participate in hourly rounding.
  • Ensure necessary consents are obtained for procedures.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
