Job Title: Geotechnical Technician

Overview: Sage Butte Energy, a private exploration and production company in the Powder River Basin, is seeking a Geotechnical Technician to support our oil and gas operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical investigations and sampling.
• Analyze soil and rock properties to inform drilling operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize site selection.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in geotechnical analysis and fieldwork.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in relevant software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
