Job Description
This RN position in the Intensive Care Unit involves providing direct patient care, including medication administration, clinical treatments, and documentation.
Assists with activities of daily living and collaborates with the healthcare team for patient transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support.
Evaluates patient responses, monitors changes, and takes appropriate actions based on assessments.
Develops individualized care and education plans, considering patient age, culture, and needs.
Supports quality improvement initiatives and maintains a supportive environment for quality patient care.
Acts as a patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Participates in ongoing professional development and adheres to best practices.
Requirements include a current TN RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, critical thinking skills, and ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
