Job Description
Manage patients primarily diagnosed with pre and postoperative renal transplant, SPK, PAK, ESRD requiring vascular access, peritoneal dialysis, or telemetry monitoring.
Provide extensive education tailored to renal transplant and SPK patients to promote self-care and graft health.
Care also includes general medicine and surgical patients with acute and chronic conditions, such as transplant complications, nephrectomy, and dialysis access.
Treatments involve IV therapy, antibiotics, blood transfusions, sterile dressings, tube feeding, surgical drains, and immunosuppressive therapy.
Work may require handling sensitive information protected by HIPAA and other regulations, ensuring access is limited to necessary information and properly protected.
