Job Description

This night shift nursing role in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for surgical and medical patients in a 22-bed med-surg unit.

  • Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and managing patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop care plans, guide ancillary staff, and ensure quality patient care across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.

  • Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NYS RN license, and certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC. New graduates are welcome.

  • The role emphasizes compassionate care, sound nursing judgment, and adherence to regulations regarding patient information confidentiality.
