Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment, medication administration, and diagnostics, with a focus on safe transition to discharge.

  • Implements physician orders, manages treatments, and documents care in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
  • Assesses patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment.
  • Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC).
  • Preferably 1-3 years of ED experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
    The role offers a competitive salary ($36.73 – $60.93/hr) and benefits, including health coverage, pension, and paid leave.
    The ED is a Level I Trauma Center with specialized zones, equipment, and a pediatric expansion planned.
    The position may involve access to sensitive patient information, requiring adherence to confidentiality standards.
