Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with colleagues to create patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Maintains standards of professional nursing and ensures patient safety and privacy, following confidentiality and data protection policies.
