Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow patient care plans, directing ancillary staff and maintaining nursing standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
