The Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in decision-making.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Directs ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information under strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
