Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Trauma department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
The role may require access to sensitive information; staff must ensure confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.
