Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow the Plan of Care.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves safeguarding sensitive information and adhering to privacy regulations.
