Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff and ensuring professional standards.
Minimum requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role offers a salary range of $72,072-$74,229.26, with an hourly rate of $34.65-$35.69.
