Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting 08/11/2025 in Devils Lake, ND.
Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health, perform NSTs, and educate patients on labor and delivery.
Support labor progression, administer medications like epidurals and Pitocin, and assist with delivery procedures.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and initial newborn assessments.
Monitor postpartum recovery, support breastfeeding, and educate on newborn care.
Ensure accurate documentation, collaborate with healthcare team, and communicate effectively with patients.
Follow infection control protocols, recognize complications, and respond to emergencies such as fetal distress or hemorrhage.
Advocate for patient preferences and provide education on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours/week.
