Job Description
Seeking a remote RN Clinical Document Improvement Specialist for a 7-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska, starting 08/18/2025, with 38 hours/week on dayshift.
Responsibilities include communicating with clinicians to clarify documentation, ensuring compliance with AHIMA/ACDIS guidelines, and reviewing records post-discharge.
Must be familiar with ICD-10 coding, MS-DRGs, CCs, MCCs, severity of illness, and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines.
Experience with concurrent, file, and chart reviews, and knowledge of HIPAA is required.
