Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN provides comprehensive patient care, coordinating assessments, treatments, and diagnostics to support patient progress and discharge planning.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs procedures, and documents treatments according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates patient conditions through diagnostic tests and assessments, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and execute individualized care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and ensures professional nursing standards are maintained.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
The role offers an hourly range of $34.65 – $35.69, with responsibilities emphasizing quality patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
