Job Description
This night shift RN role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow patient care plans, directs ancillary staff, and ensures quality standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred previous nursing or PCA experience.
The 29-bed unit serves adult patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring after procedures.
Salary ranges from $76,396.32 to $126,730.61, with an hourly range of $36.73 to $60.93.
The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
