Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU (D3N) provides compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment for effective management.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred healthcare or clerical experience, and basic computer skills.
Must communicate effectively, work well with others, be honest, punctual, and adhere to ethical standards and policies.
Capable of organizing and prioritizing work, multitasking, and protecting sensitive information as per regulations.
