Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care on a 29-bed unit serving cardiac and medical patients, including those post-procedure requiring telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures quality standards.
Minimum qualifications: nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred prior nursing or PCA experience.
Requires knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ongoing education to enhance performance.
This role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
