Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout hospitalization, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordination and delivery of compassionate, competent care to inpatients, outpatients, and community patients.
Performs physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, conducts treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and provides emergency and primary care.
Must have a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification. Prior experience and continuing education are preferred.
The role involves caring for patients with complex vascular conditions, requiring knowledge of multiple body systems.
