Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN works night shifts, assessing, planning, and coordinating patient care throughout hospitalization, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff to ensure quality nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or progressive care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The hourly rate ranges from $34.65 to $35.69.
