Job Description
Join the Critical Care Float Pool team, providing day shift nursing in various ICU settings including Neuro-Surgical Trauma, Medical ICU, Coronary Care, Cardiovascular ICU, and progressive critical care units.
Gain diverse critical care skills and competencies, including Emergency Department and neuro-progressive care.
Work at the regionâs only Level I trauma center, in a dynamic, highly skilled team.
Contribute to a compassionate environment through active listening and kindness.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and document care.
Assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and apply sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary/emergency care, collaborate on care plans, and guide ancillary staff.
Requirements include NYS RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, 1-3 years ICU or Progressive Care experience, and strong communication skills.
This role involves handling sensitive information per privacy regulations.
