Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.
They interpret diagnostic tests, assess patient needs, and use sound judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are required.
The role involves handling sensitive information according to privacy regulations and organizational policies.
