Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests. They assess patient needs, apply sound judgment, and deliver primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. The role involves collaborating on care plans, directing ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards. Requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential. The position supports a caring environment and adheres to strict confidentiality and regulatory standards. Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.
