The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care department works day shifts (09:00-21:30), earning $76,396.32 to $126,730.61 annually. They contribute to a compassionate environment by providing primary and emergency care, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests. They assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic results, and collaborate on care plans. Requirements include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Skills in communication, organization, and quality improvement are essential.
