The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery unit provides comprehensive patient care, focusing on discharge planning and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Provides primary and emergency care for patients with complex conditions such as amputations and vascular wounds.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff and maintaining nursing standards.
Requires a valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and relevant nursing education.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance roles and ongoing professional development.
Ensures compliance with privacy laws and information security protocols.
The role operates on a night shift with a salary range of $72,072â$74,229.
