Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing both primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff while ensuring professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies.
