Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Evaluates patient conditions through diagnostic tests and assessments.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management and provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), a current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
