Job Description
This RN role in Hematology/Oncology involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout the episode of care, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans, supervising ancillary staff and ensuring quality standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior nursing or PCA experience.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement principles and adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding sensitive patient information.
