Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care during their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
The nurse collaborates with the care team to develop and execute a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
The hourly rate ranges from $34.65 to $35.69, with a night shift schedule. The role requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA regulations.
