Job Description
The clinical Nurse creates a compassionate environment by providing patient-centered care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are required.
